This workshop is designed to help you, even if you have not set up your Instagram account. You will learn how to create a great looking account, what to post when you are first starting out plus loads of ideas that mean no scary selfies. You will learn the importance of hashtags as well as how to gain more followers. We will also touch on Instagram advertising.

There is no need to be burying your head in the sand when it comes to this platform. I will help you get on, get confident and grow your following.

Topic 1 – Marketing Fundamentals

There is no point in even attempting Instagram (or anything else for that matter) if you don’t know the basics.

You will learn:

  • Who is your ideal customer avatar
  • What problems you solve for them
  • The voice and tone of your business
  • Branding and how to level up your marketing

Topic 2 – Creating a fabulous Instagram Profile

TRUTH: you can set up your profile in about 60 seconds but this is your shop front so it is your moment to WOW people.

We will go through some simple but critical steps to help people stop and read when they come to your profile.

Topic 3 – Creating posts that get engagement

So posting content that gets engagement seems like a slippery little eel but let me show you how to do this.

I will explain to you what the Algorithm is, how it works and how you can create posts easily and consistently that will get you engagement.

 

Topic 4 – Growing your following

We will look at how to grow your following using posts, competitions and promotions. We will also explore hashtags and how to effectively use these.

Topic 5 – Advertising on Instagram

Many people are totally intimidated at the thought of spending money and in truth, it can feel like you are just throwing money out there with much care.

Let me explain the fundamentals of creating a great ad including:

  • Defining your audience
  • The different ad formats and how and when to use them
  • The Facebook pixel and how that all works
  • A proven template to creating a great ad

So what do you get?

At the end of this full-day, you will walk away feeling confident about using Instagram as a tool to not only drive engagement but to attract customers and generate sales.
