As your digital coach, educator and marketing specialist, I work with women just like you to transform their efforts when it comes to showing up and getting results on social media.

I started Online Social Butterfly in 2011 on a bit of a whim. I totally hated working in the corporate world. I had 2 young boys and a husband that I never saw. I was tired and fed up. I had no idea what I wanted to do, I just knew I wanted out.

So I quit my job and muddled around a bit helping my hubby Grant in his business. I thought starting a business would be easy after all these years in Marketing but in truth, no-one wanted me.

I pressed everyone in my network to see if they wanted to employ me as a marketing consultant. After a bunch of awkward NOs, someone said yes so long as I focused on her online marketing. Sure, I can totally do that!

So really a little luck with a good splash of hard work and my dream of being home with my boys was a reality. I worked hard and what I did totally evolved.

The big change was when I ran my first Facebook workshop titled “Manage your Facebook Page in 10 minutes a day or less” in 2014.

Fast forward 8 years and thousands of students later and I run this amazing business that I love. I get to work with Grant, my husband. We share an office in our home and are generally around for our boys, who are super sporty kids, have lots of demand for our taxi services.

Online Social Butterfly is focused on helping stressed businesswomen ditch that overwhelm, stop lying awake at night wondering what on they are missing when it comes to this darn Digital Marketing stuff.

Our business is focused really on training, whether through LIVE workshops here in our home town Perth or online courses, communities and clubs. I love showing up and helping other woman find the confidence and courage to do the same.

So as well as whiling away a decade or so in corporate marketing, I also dedicated a good chunk of time (and let’s be honest) lots of lost weekends and late nights to further study. On top of my Marketing degree (completed when there was barely any internet), I also have a Certificate in Direct Marketing, Graduate-Diploma in Business Management and finally, a Masters in Communications Management. There are plans for a PhD just so I can be called Dr Facebook. ????

  I joined Sarah's Digital Queens Mastermind in January 2023. We are in month 5 and I am transformed! I have a plan! We set out our annual goals, and revist these monthly and quarterley. I plan my social media content for the month, not just post ad-hoc! Our guest experts are amazing, I learn each and every time. The overall feel of our Mastermind is planning, support, sharing wins and hard times plus Sarah is a great motivator. The feeling of being in a group is great for me as I work from home, alone.
