One feature that I love and simply could not run my business without is the scheduling feature. It is incredibly useful and allows you to remove the pressure of having to sit down and post every day.
Scheduling a tool is as simple as writing your post on Facebook and then using the Facebook scheduling feature. This can be found at the bottom left of the post box and looks like a little clock – I have highlighted it in yellow on the image below.

Once you click on the clock a little drop down menu appears allowing you to select the date and time that you would like your post to be scheduled. Facebook has now created a calendar that goes years in to the future (it used to only be 12 months) so if you are keen, you can just keep on scheduling.

Now once you have scheduled a post, Facebook also has a feature that allows you to view all of your scheduled posts – this can be found under the menu at the top of your Facebook page, titled Activity. You can see all of the posts that you have previously scheduled.

What is extremely helpful is that Facebook will allow you to edit any scheduled posts. To do this you simply use the drop down arrow on the scheduled post (highlighted in yellow) You can choose to do a number of actions including:
1. Rescheduling: which allows you to change the date and time you have the post scheduled for.
2. Edit: which allows you to change the content of the post
3. Publish now: which instantly publishes the post
4. Delete post: which will delete the post entirely.

Make sure you have a try at scheduling – it is a great way to plan and create some amazing posts instead of sitting there every day trying to think what to write.
And one final tip – Facebook has just introduced a new feature that allows you to choose who you are posting as – this transition between your personal and business account was always possible but now it is really simple. Within the posting box, you now have the option to post as yourself or your page and you can just flick between the two. I think this feature is most useful if you are wanting to reply to comments on your page, rather than using it to create a post.

Now, be sure to give this a go. Once you get the hang of it, you will love how much time it will save you.
